A company spokesperson said that there was even a bulk purchase of some of the units. “Over the last few months, we continued to see demand from both local and foreign home buyers for our units at 8 St Thomas, which serves as a testament to the enduring value of high quality developments among discerning buyers.”
Mr Paul Ho, chief mortgage officer at iCompareLoan, said: “About 150 or 60 per cent of the units at 8 St Thomas have been sold at an average price of $3,100 psf. All the one-bedroom units have been sold, and prices for the remaining two- to four-bedroom units range from $2.5 million to $5.5 million.”
He added: ” To make it more attractive to the buyers, the developer is expected to role out a new deferred payment scheme. This will provide more flexibility to buyers.”
