Verizon (VZ) was the largest US telecom player as of December 24, with a market capitalization of ~$219.2 billion. It was followed by AT&T (T), which had a market cap of ~$199.1 billion. CenturyLink’s (CTL) market capitalization was ~$15.7 billion, as shown in the chart below, and Windstream Holdings’ (WIN) and Frontier Communications’ (FTR) was ~$0.1 billion and ~$0.2 billion, respectively.
