Oslo Bors CEO prefers takeover by Nasdaq

OSLO (Reuters) - Oslo Bors VPS remains convinced that Nasdaq would be the best owner of the Norwegian stock market operator, despite Euronext's higher bid, Oslo Bors Chief Executive Bente Landsnes told Reuters on Monday.

"We've conducted a thorough evaluation of who would be the best owner, and we stand by that assessment," Landsnes said.

"We've not had any further contact with Euronext following our board's endorsement of Nasdaq's bid," she added.
