Raffles Medical Acquires International SOS For US$24.5 Million

Raffles Medical Group’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Raffles SurgiCentre, has acquired 55 percent of total issued shares of International SOS (MC Holdings) with a consideration of US$24.5 million.

MC Holdings, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AEA International Holdings, is a provider of quality and comprehensive clinical care that operates 10 clinics in China, Vietnam and Cambodia.

As at 30 June 2015, the book value of MC Holdings and its subsidiaries to be acquired was US$5.4 million and net tangible asset value was approximately US$5.3 million.
