London in the Singapore spotlight

No less than nine separate property exhibitions featuring United Kingdom property investment opportunities take place in Singapore this weekend – underlining the fact that local buyers' love of London property remains stronger than ever.Three projects are also claiming to be having their world launch events in the city-state, highlighting the fact that buyers from Singapore are still an important market for developers of London new-build property.Getting its 'Exclusive First Launch' this weekend in Asia is Lexicon E1, a waterfront development featuring 54 spacious units it its first phase launch. Marketed by IP Global, the Singapore property exhibition takes place on Saturday and Sunday at Hilton Hotel Malaysia Room between 11am and 7pm.Also holding a 'World Exclusive Launch' in Singapore this weekend is Horizons, a waterside development on the bank of the River Thames next to Canary Wharf. The Telford Homes project is being marketed at an event with DTZ at Hilton Hotel Thailand and Singapore Rooms on Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 7pm. Prices start from £367,500.Also having its 'World Exclusive Launch' in Singapore this weekend is The Marylebone Apartments, the latest development by Galliard Homes which is being marketed in Singapore by Colliers. The event takes place on Saturday and Sunday at Shangri-La Hotel Orange Room Level 2 between 11am and 7pm. The exclusive development features a range of just 15 apartments priced from £695.000.Prestigious Westminster development Abell & Cleland returns to Singapore for an exhibition that takes place on Saturday and Sunday at Four Seasons Hotel Windows West Room between 11am and 7pm. The 999-year lease collection of two- and three-bedroom apartments and duplexes are priced from £1.8 million.City North, an award-winning mixed-use development in the Finsbury Park area of North London is the subject of another London property exhibition taking place in Singapore this weekend. The project, which features 308 residential apartments priced from £275,000 is being showcased jointly by Jones Lang LaSalle and Savills at an event at St Regis Hotel Senator Room between 11am and 7pm.Barrett Homes' brings its latest project – Renaissance – to Singapore this weekend. The project in the Lewisham area of South London boasts 26-storeys of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments along with two-bedroom duplexes. The exhibition, organised by CBRE, takes place on Saturday and Sunday at The Regent Hotel between 11am and 7pm.Outside London, prime Liverpool waterfront apartments are being exhibited by Singapore real estate agency Trillion at Four Seasons Hotel Level 6, on Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 6pm. Prices for units at the development in Northwest England start from S$160,000 per unit and offer 6% net assured rentals for five years.Away from residential opportunities, student accommodation developer Trivelles brings its latest U.K. student property investment to Singapore in the shape of a Nottingham opportunity. Marketed by DWG, the event takes place at the Marina Mandarin Singapore Libra and Gemini Rooms on Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 7pm.A leasehold hotel room investment in Stafford priced from £52,000 and offering immediate returns is the subject of another UK property exhibition in Singapore happening this weekend.
