Lenovo to Sell Smartphones in US in 2014

Lenovo (HKG:0992.HK - News) is one of the world’s top five smartphone makers, but that feat is mainly due to sales in China - plus a growing presence in India, Russia, and Indonesia. Next, Lenovo wants to take its Android-powered smartphones to the US market, according to Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing.

Lenovo’s push into the US will likely happen next year. Lenovo is China’s second largest smartphone brand, and hopes to unseat Samsung to become the market leader.
