Frasers Centrepoint Acquires UK Hotel Operator For $759.5m

Frasers Centrepoint’s hospitality arm, Frasers Hospitality UK Holdings, has acquired MHDV Holdings (UK) (MHDVUK) for approximately $759.5 million.

MHDVUK owns and operates two upscale boutique lifestyle brands, namely Malmaison and Hotel du Vin, comprising 29 boutique lifestyle hotels with 2,082 keys located across 25 cities in the United Kingdom.

The acquisition will be funded by the group’s internal cash resources and external bank borrowings to be taken up by Frasers Hospitality UK.

The inclusion of Malmaison and Hotel du Vin brings Frasers Hospitality’s portfolio to 129 properties, across 77 cities and over 21,100 keys.
