Barry Meyers to rejoin JPMorgan after almost two years at Barclays

(Reuters) - Barry Meyers is set to rejoin JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM.N) from Barclays Plc (BARC.L) to take on the role of Managing Director of UK Equity Capital Markets (ECM), according to an internal memo seen by Reuters.

A spokeswoman at JPMorgan confirmed that Meyers, who has been leading the UK ECM team at Barclays since March 2015, would report to Nicholas Hall and would also become head of ECM for Sub-Saharan Africa.

JPMorgan ended 2016 as the top bookrunner in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, with a market share of more than 10 percent of the deals in the region, raising over $67 billion (54 billion pounds) for its clients.
