Banyan Group has announced the opening of its first standalone property under its dedicated well-being brand, Banyan Tree Veya Valle de Guadalupe.

Located in an agricultural area of Mexico, the 16-acre (6.5ha) property consists of 30 guest villas and an assortment of wellness and relaxation amenities. These include a hydrotherapy room, fitness studio, mediation area, two hilltop pools and a traditional Mexican mezcal, a sauna-like structure used in a local meditation ritual.

Each guest villa has a private plunge pool and wellness amenities such as yoga mats, floating weights, and mindfulness aids. Prices start from $805 per night for a two-guest villa. The resort also houses seven restaurants supplied with locally sourced produce and a 1,484 sq ft event space.
