Two Malayan Sun Bears Celebrate Their Birthdays at Atlanta Zoo

Two Malayan sun bears celebrated their birthdays on October 19, Zoo Atlanta said in a Facebook post, with footage showing the bears enjoying a watermelon and other treats.

The zoo said: “Today we are celebrating two birthdays: Xander’s 22nd birthday (October 10), and Sabah’s 24th birthday (October 17) … They received nesting material, raisin boards (thick plastic board with holes for hiding treats) with Cheerios, air-popped popcorn, peanut butter, one large ice treat with raspberries and bear biscuits, and two half watermelons carved out and filled with crushed-up bear biscuits.” Credit: Zoo Atlanta via Storyful
