Tesla Dashcams Capture Car Slamming Into Semi-Truck on North Carolina Highway

Two dashcams on a Tesla captured a car crashing into a tractor-trailer while driving south on Interstate 77 in Charlotte, North Carolina, on May 4.

Dashcam footage shows the moment the sedan slams into the side of the semi-truck, crumpling its exterior and sending a hubcap rolling off one of the wheels.

The sedan “was going way too fast, so I actually punched the accelerator real quick to try to get away,” said Benjamin O’Morrow, the Tesla owner whose multiple cameras recorded the accident from different angles.
