Yahoo Finance’s On the Move panel discuss today’s Stocks on the Move: Roku, HSBC.

Video transcript

JULIE HYMAN: But as we take you to break, I want to bring you a couple of stocks to watch here, "Stocks On The Move." Roku shares bucking the downtrend today in a big way. They are up by nearly 15% after over the weekend, Comcast announced it had finally struck a deal with Roku to bring Peacock and some of the other NBC apps to the streaming platform-- to Roku, that is. Remember, there are 37 million or so active Roku accounts. 15 million people have signed up for Peacock, so now they have an additional way to watch. Remember also, the HBO Max app is still not available on Roku.

And then we're watching HSBC. Those shares are down in US trading-- the US-listed shares, that is-- down about 6%. It is among banks revealed in a leak of secret files that aren't doing enough to prevent global money laundering and, indeed, are profiting from it. Allegedly, in this report, more than $2 trillion in transactions between 1999 and 2017 were flagged by internal compliance officers then those internal reports have now been leaked to a consortium of journalists. So not only is HSBC down, a number of other banks are taking a hit as well.
