Spectacular Cloud Forms Ahead of Cold Front in Omaha

A spectacular cloud formation was captured making a long line across the sky as a cold front moved in over Omaha, Nebraska, on December 5.

Video by Scott Nicholson shows the cloud stretching across the sky over his neighborhood.

“When I glanced out the east window of our home, I didn’t know what to make of this cloud feature until I stepped outside and realized that it extended from horizon to horizon,” he said.
