'Sanam Re' outshines 'Fitoor' at Box-Office

It has been proved time and again that only an outstanding script can manage to pull the crowd to theatres and not any A-lister or stupid promotional gimmicks. The same has happened in the case of Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif starrer 'Fitoor', as the movie seems to be tanking at the box-office as compared to the same day release 'Sanam Re'. Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam's love story 'Sanam Re' has easily managed to outshine 'Fitoor's box-office collections. According to Film Critic Taran Adarsh, 'Sanam Re' cashed-in 5.04 crore, whereas 'Fitoor' managed to rake-in only 3.61 crore on day one of release. Abhishek Kapoor's directorial 'Fitoor' is based on Charles Dickens' novel 'The Great Expectations' and revolves around the lead pair of Aditya and Katrina. It seems the actors went overboard with their promotional strategies and failed to connect with the audience. The coming days will throw more light at the box office clash of both films.
