Has Radhika Apte bagged Madhur Bhandarkar's next?
After giving a stellar performance in her recent flick Phobia, Radhika Apte has been reportedly roped in for Madhur Bhandarkar's next flick. The film which will be titled 'Main, Indu' is to be set in the Emergency Era from June 25, 1975 to March, 21 1977, and will apparently revolve around the life of a poetess who rebels against the system. Anushka Sharma was one of the front runners to play the lead, but ultimately it was Radhika who reportedly got the role. Madhur already started his research by meeting senior political leaders who saw the dark days of the Emergency up close and personal. The National Award-winning director also met BJP leader Subramanian Swamy recently, and is believed to have exchanged notes on Emergency with him.Men angrier on Facebook than women: Study
