Protesters March Streets of San Juan Over Power Outages Plaguing Puerto Rico

Crowds of protesters marched the streets of San Juan, Puerto Rico, on Friday, October 15, to demand the expulsion of power company Luma amid a continued lack of electricity across the island.

This footage filmed by Twitter user @Vantillana shows protesters holding banners and chanting.

Protesters were reprimanding Luma and Puerto Rico’s Electric Power Authority for their inability to address dozens of recent power outages, according to local news reports.
