Police Shut Down Times Square After Three People Shot

A heavy police response took to Times Square in New York City after three people, including a toddler, were shot in the area on May 8, according to news reports.

The victims were in a stable condition and the perpetrators were being hunted by New York police, according to Mayor Bill de Blasio.

The New York City Police Department said an investigation was taking place.
