Mehbooba flags off train with 612 children on board at Banihal

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday flagged off a train boarding nearly 612 children at Banihal on Sunday. This comes as an initiative for restoring normalcy in Kashmir. The first-of-its-kind train was flagged off at Banihal, which would pass through Quazigund, Anantnag, Awantipur, Srinagar, Budgam and Sopore before concluding its journey at Baramula. Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu expressed his happiness on the Indian Railways' move on his official Twitter account.
