Lt Gen DP Pandey inaugurates smart classrooms at Army Goodwill School Boniyar

Boniyar (Jammu and Kashmir), Sep 28 (ANI): GOC Chinar Corps Lieutenant General DP Pandey on September 27 inaugurated smart classrooms at Army Goodwill School in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. The inaugural ceremony was also graced by VK Singh, Director (Personnel) POWERGRID. With the inception and impact of technology in all spheres of life, the Indian Army has also incorporated innovative changes in the existing learning and teaching techniques in Army Goodwill Schools. In one such endeavor, Indian Army in collaboration with Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) and iDreams undertook the project of upgradation and digitisation of classrooms in 10 Army Goodwill Schools of Kashmir Division in the districts of Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipora and Anantnag. The project included converting 128 classrooms into smart classes and thus revolutionising the teaching process. Out of 28 Army Goodwill Schools, 16 have been upgraded and digitised till date.
