Logitech sales up 66% on work-from-home activity

No let-up in demand for computer peripherals maker Logitech.

The firm makes accessories from computer keyboards to webcams.

Its sale rose 66% to $1.3 billion during the three months to the end of June as stay-at-home workers continued to fuel the surge.

That was up from $792 million a year earlier.

The Swiss-American company reported both higher operating income and sales at the start of its 2022 business year.

Trends like working from home and the rise of online gaming continued to boost Logitech's performance.

Since the start of the global health crisis, it's raised its guidance five times while its stock price gained 87% last year.

From September, Logitech will replace Swatch Group in the Swiss blue-chip SMI index.
