First Horizon, TD Bank terminate merger agreement

Yahoo Finance Live’s Ines Ferre reports that First Horizon and TD Bank have agreed to terminate their merger deal.

INES FERRE: And shares of First Horizon take a plunge after calling off their previously announced merger agreement with TD Bank. The mutual agreement to terminate this potential deal came after TD informed First Horizon it did not have a timetable for regulatory approvals. Thus, due to uncertain nature as when and if these regulatory approvals could be obtained, both parties decided to part ways.
