Fighter Jet Seen Flying Over Manhattan as UN General Assembly Begins

A military jet plane was seen flying over upper Manhattan on September 21, as world leaders gathered at the UN for the General Assembly.

Defense officials confirmed that a US F-16 was involved in intercepting a Cessna that flew into restricted airspace near the UN on Tuesday, according to reports. The plane was subsequently escorted away from restricted airspace.
