Dow surges to all-time high, stocks close in the green

The Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI) leads the way for market gains this session, closing by 0.53% higher — or 210 points — to reach a new all-time high. The S&P 500 (^GSPC) and Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC) end the day in the green, just off of their record closes. The S&P 500 hit an all-time high intraday.
