Crowds Defy Curfew in Paris for Second Night

Police in Paris intervened for a second night on June 12-13, making several arrests as hundreds of people partied at and around the Esplanade des Invalides in defiance of an 11 pm curfew.

Police said officers intervening before the curfew were targeted with projectiles as they sought to clear people who they said were not social distancing.
