Well the shorts are out in full desperation mode. They know they've over-sold an innovative American tech company with over 5000% revenue growth, a new industry icon CEO, flush with cash, making a number of new strategic partnerships, and with FAA approval of the patented delivery vehicle launched and controlled drones upcoming.

When the dam breaks, it's going to be a massive 40 to 80 million shorts share covering explosion.

Someone just bought 98,998 shares in one order and another order for 15,793 shares. Returned shares didn't increase, so it wasn't covering, it must have been an institution.

So Ford recalls over 17,000 Mustang Mach-E's over concerns the windshield and panoramic roof could detach and cause injuries. No injuries have been reported. Engineers found the problem when a cracked windshield was replaced and found that the adhesive was inadequate. I am sure the Mach-E passed all of the FMVSS testing requirements and was certified by the NHTSA. You think Ford doctored the test results?
Of course not. Just like WKHS did nothing wrong with their vehicle.

The CEO seemed very upbeat about the C1000 Fix and about future opportunities... he seemed to be looking forward to the earnings call and I think the update will include some VERY POSITIVE NEWS...!!! God Knows... This Company Needs Some Positive News...!!!

I'm curious, for anyone who has been shorting this for a while, how much sense does it make to keep your short position open? I've heard some saying they've been shorting since June ($30-$40) and others who have said they started around $15-$20. So we're talking huge profits of 2x to 5x investment in just a few months. That's a home run...as long as you lock in profits while you can.

So wouldn't it make sense for those shorts to close their positions and lock in their gains, rather than risk all that money they've made on hoping this goes down another couple bucks? Why risk $30 to make $2?

If you look at that situation objectively, remove all pride and emotion and machismo, it's absolutely the most sensible thing to do. Heck you can still brag about how you were right and you made a ton of money off of long bagholders by shorting for as long as you did. Plus you wouldn't have to worry about CTB or margin calls or other shorts jumping out before you or the possibility that some other catalyst comes along and sends this up big again.

Institutions are buying... we will probably find out who later today but it really appears institutional ownership is increasing ... wonder why... WALMART...?

Shorts went in the hole 472K shares today. That last order at the close was for 241,397 shares. I thought that was probably a short covering, but Ortex did not show an increase in returned shares.

Who is making all of this money that the shorts pay to borrow the shares....?

Exchange reported short interest is now up to 44% from 41% the end of August. That is the second highest it has been since that little mini-squeeze back in June.

844K shares now borrowed with 138K returned. Looks like the tug-of-war continues amongst shorts. Obviously freshly borrowed shares have not been returned because the price keeps going up.

What happened to all of our paid bashers? Taking a day off? Maybe the hedge funds let them go as they're losing money?

Does it seem almost like the share price is being intentionally held at $8? It's like someone gave orders, "hold it to $8" and they are borrowing/returning to make sure it stays at $8.

It is very likely that Institutions are buying because they understand that the USPS Dismissal resulted in WKHS Getting something... they will most likely get some of the contract or CASH... If you read the lawsuit you can understand that WKHS is claiming a lot of damages... I could see a beneficial outcome for WKHS...The USPS Deal is not done...!!!

This is not the squeeze or close to being the squeeze. This is a natural reversal and uptrend with institutions buying in and realizing potential of good news. The short squeeze is imminent at this point.

So the hedge fund trader that borrows over 900K shares to short and the stock is up 7.51%; how does he explain that to his boss?

I'm actually hoping that shorts don't realize that institutions are buying and continue to try to short it further. The more future covers we build up behind the dam and the longer this goes on, the higher the eventual share price will go.

Dream scenario is that these shorts continue to go at least a half a million shares into the hole daily while we finishing the day each day modestly green. Keep that going for a month or more would be absolutely fantastic before the dam breaks.
