It’s a risky play but I’ve taken advantage of the dip. Another new variant has impacted the market. I can’t see a full lock down coming again. The market price is now the same as that when the full lock downs arrived.

Current vaccines are not an ideal match so might not work quite as well, say experts. But that doesn't mean they'll offer zero protection.

"More than £3bn wiped off travel shares as Austria orders lockdown". Have you read the News in Yahoo today? The lockdown is for those who refuse(for me idiots) to get vaccines in Austria. Did the USA, UK, Turkey, China etc. go into lockdown? Nope.

Because there are vaccines and pills and the global economy is now more important than unvaccinated people. People sold today will regret it in 1 - 2 weeks. Johnson clearly said that no more lockdowns even if we see 100,000 cases per day. Those who didn't get their vaccines are dying in the hospitals and hey any clues for restrictions? nope. The government has already said that there will be no more lockdowns.

To be honest I don't care about those people in the hospital. They choose their life.

I think part of the recent sell-off was due to fear of the covid news conference today - there was some concern that restrictions may be reintroduced. That wasn't the case, so od expect a pop tomorrow
