Probably not the last time this is under $5, but close. I believe this is a good long term, inflationary play. Buildings, food, and water will not be cheaper in the future. Victory to whoever has the most acreage under glass, uses the least resources, has a relative low labor cost, and is within a days drive to major markets. APPH checks all these boxes. It will take years but the strategy will pay off and you’ll be proud of the company you’ve invested in. Small holder, long-term bull.

I don't own any shares, but the story is interesting, so I keep thinking about buying, but with weak guidance and nothing significant happening for the next 3 years, idk if it makes sense to buy at all. It's more likely this stock goes under $1 and sees many reversal splits, than to go up. Even at 100% capacity, without any hiccup 2025 $400M in sales. I mean this type of farming might have to be a future, but big producers can have hundreds of thousands of acres up fast, there is nothing stopping them. Honestly the more I think about it, and write it out the less sense it makes to invest. I know these boards are frequented by hopeful longs and as a hopeful long of some garbage companies, I'm sincerely sorry. I would love to hear from if someone has a different opinion, but I just bummed myself out writing this.

California now cutting water for farming. Guess who is going n the driver’s seat as this progresses.
When the extra fields come into production probably $50 a share by the end of 2022. If not more.

All this fancy buildings and all they got is tomatoes and salsa? Yikes. Them expanding is only causing them to go deeper in the red.

My basis is $16.40 and this feels hopeless. Should I just sell or be patient for a year?

it needs to stop spending money on building new facilities, save cash and get the tomato facility working first imho

Check what the analyst say. Buy or strong buy!! The company borrowed 90 Million to expand. Profits will come when the fields go into production. Probably in the spring. This is a long term investment.

Even at this price, the market cap just seems way too high to support the price. Not even doing a million dollars per quarter. Market cap is over 600 Million dollars

APPH management has a lot of work and few years before they break even, but when that happens this may attract a few eyes. If you are in and down pretty bad, stay in for the long term.
