The next chapter of Kobe Bryant’s career began on Monday and looks as though he might need to order new business cards.
The future NBA Hall of Famer reportedly revealed that he is partnering with 43-year-old Jeff Stibel, a longtime entrepreneur and investor, to create Bryant Stibel, a $200 million venture-capital fund that will invest in technology, media and data companies.
Both men are pitching in $100 million, which they expect to invest over the next few years. They are currently involved with sports website The Players Tribune, gaming designer Scopely, legal-services firm Legal Zoom, a home juicing product Juicero and a telemarketing-software firm Ring DNA.
