PHOTOS: Celebratory parade for Singapore's Paralympians

Fit To Post Sports

A celebratory parade was held on Saturday (24 September) to honour the efforts and achievements of Singapore's 13 athletes who took part in the 2016 Summer Paralympics.

The event began in the morning at the Sengkang Sports Centre, with the parade route scheduled to make pit stops at the National Library @ Victoria Street and the VivoCity mall. Singapore's showing in Rio de Janeiro, where the Paralympics were held, included two gold medals and a bronze earned by swimmers Yip Pin Xiu and Theresa Goh.
