A luxury house in super-exclusive Sandbanks has become one of Britain’s most expensive coastal homes after being sold for a whopping £8.09 MILLION.

The Moorings is around 14 times the size of the average UK home and boasts its own cinema, wine room, spa and private jetty.

Whoever has bought it will be neighbours with the likes of Harry Redknapp and Graeme Souness on the exclusive peninsula in Poole, Dorset.

The six-bedroom house has 11,712 sq/ft of floor space and was regarded as England’s most technologically advanced house when it was designed and built by Kingsbury Homes in 2009.

As well as the expected living room, kitchen/dining/family room, office and garden room, its six bedrooms have en-suites and there is a guest suite with its own kitchenette and living room.

There is also a gate house and boat house and a spa complex complete with indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym, as well as a private jetty at the foot of the garden that opens out onto Poole Harbour.

And soon someone will be taking full advantage of the luxury pad, with Savills Canford office confirming that the property has been sold for £8,090,000.
