Zayo Group: Fiscal 4Q Earnings Snapshot

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) _ Zayo Group Holdings Inc. (ZAYO) on Wednesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter earnings of $63 million.

On a per-share basis, the Boulder, Colorado-based company said it had profit of 26 cents.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 15 cents per share.

The fiber optic bandwidth infrastructure company posted revenue of $650.6 million in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $647.3 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $150 million, or 62 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $2.58 billion.

Zayo Group shares have increased 48% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $33.76, a decline of 11% in the last 12 months.
