Yahoo Finance Zarina Anjoulie not bothered by single mum status
11 May – Zarina Anjoulie is not one to be bothered by what people say about her, after revealing that she and husband Eilyas Azhar have ended their marriage - marking her second divorce in six years.
The former actress and social media influencer, known to her fans by her nickname Anju, recently expressed her thoughts on her status as a single mother on Instagram Story, saying that she has her own career and vision and doesn't even care what others have to say.
"My main target and ambition is to take care of my parents and my child. Why would I be afraid? I am not even bothered. Do you know how many single mothers are out there with five to six children whose children [succeed in life]?" she asked.
Anju added that she was inspired by the stories of these single mothers to do better herself, that it would be embarrassing for her to think of herself a victim of situation.
Anju tied the knot with Eilyas in July last year after four years of being a single mother, before they ended their marriage earlier this year. She then again surprised many by announcing that they have reconciled back in March, only to reveal on 3 May that they are divorced yet again.
On the other hand, her first marriage was with a Brunei man, which ended in 2016 after only a year. She also has a son named Awangku Gabriel Martin Ezra from her first marriage.
