Yong Su-Lin joins Lendlease as Malaysia managing director

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Yong Su-Lin has joined Lendlease as its Malaysia managing director. This puts her in the company’s Asia Leadership Team where she will report to Justin Gabbani, CEO, Asia at Lendlease. Yong succeeds Stuart Mendel who returns to Australia after seven years as managing director of Lendlease Malaysia.

“Malaysia is a key market for the Asia business, home to our largest integrated development — The Exchange TRX. Su-Lin’s expertise and experience will add further perspective to the Asia Leadership Team,” says Gabbani.

Yong will be based in Kuala Lumpur and will oversee Lendlease’s business in Malaysia, driving the strategy, growth and operations in the country. Lendlease has development, investments and construction businesses in the country.

She has more than 25 years of experience in corporate banking and real estate including financing and consultancy. Her most recent position was CEO of Sentral REIT, a role she assumed in 2015.
