Yahoo Finance Yes, ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Merch Can Be Fashionable … or Beastly
Disney isn’t the only company that realizes what a gold mine the live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast can be. In these weeks before the movie’s March 17 release, the hype for its merchandise is everywhere. This isn’t about little girls’ princess costumes and that one odd-looking Emma Watson doll. Thanks to nostalgia for the 1991 animated version, there’s a market for products geared toward grown women. There are dresses, makeup, jewelry, and more, at high and low price points, all licensed to let us relive that tale as old as time on any occasion.
Not all of it is available yet, and we can’t possibly review it all in this space, but we thought we’d give a sampling of some of the merch, ranked from best to beastly here.

This is a playful accessory that dares to have the words “Beautiful as a Rose” written in gold on one side and still manages not to look like it belongs to someone with a bedtime or a curfew.

5. Kohl’s Belle Dresses
Summer dresses have permission to be a little kitschy with their pop-culture references. You can go super literal with your homage in yellow. But if you want only the pure of heart to know of your fandom, perhaps embrace that Belle spirit in the blue or floral prints.
