Singapore’s Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat announced the 2019 Budget on Monday (18 February).

Among the new initiatives announced are the Merdeka Generation Package (to help older Singaporeans with their healthcare costs); a Home Team Science and Tech Agency; a new sixth pillar of Total Defence and more.
