West Ham star Michail Antonio targeting Premier League Golden Boot after stellar start

Michail Antonio is aiming to win the Premier League Golden Boot after a flying start to the season.

The West Ham striker has five goals from give games in the League this season and scored on his Europa League debut against Dinamo Zagreb as well.

Mohamed Salah and Jamie Vardy have both notched five and sit level in the standings with the 31-year-old, but both have played a game more.

Antonio, who also made his Jamaica debut last month, was named player of the month for August and continued his stellar start to the campaign with a 90th minute winner at Leeds United on Saturday.

Speaking after the game, Antonio told Match of the Day: "I was never in doubt.

"When it opened up for me one vs one, with all the goal to aim for, I'd always back myself to score, especially with the form I am in.

"Six goals in six, let's keep going and let's keep scoring.

"Definitely [I like seeing my name top of the scoring charts], hopefully it can be there at the end of the season."
