New York Fashion Week wrapped up last week alongside the VMAs and the Met Gala — so it’s safe to say that it’s been a major week for fashion. And while it was NYFW’s Spring/Summer 2022 season, you can actually wear some of the new trends this fall.

While each runway show and presentation was unique, there were three trends in particular that seemed to keep popping up. Keep scrolling to get the details on a few of the biggest trends that came out of the latest NYFW and learn how you can incorporate them into your own style.

Psychedelic Prints

Spotted at: Altuzarra, Brandon Maxwell, Kim Shui & Proenza Schouler

Vivid prints were everywhere during NYFW, but they weren’t your regular plaid or gingham. These prints were full of swirls, checks and references to the ’70s, and a few even had mushrooms and aliens incorporated. Each print was fun and playful — and surprisingly wearable.

This black and white pattern may seem intimidating at first, but pair it with a solid-colored top and neutral shoes, and you’re ready to go. These jeans come in 10 other patterns if this one doesn’t speak to you, plus they are super flattering and a total deal for under $100.

Yellow & Green

Spotted at: Christian Siriano, Gabriela Hearst, Moschino & Tom Ford

If you like bright colors, then you’ll love the fact that a spectrum of yellow and green shades was a part of so many fashion week collections. From dresses to accessories to shoes, you can expect to see these fresh colors in stores soon.

Two-Piece Sets

Spotted at: Alice + Olivia, Cinq à Sept, Jason Wu & Michael Kors

Matching two-piece sets have been trending for a while now, and they are not going anywhere. These sets, which are usually monochromatic, are a great way to make your outfit look curated and thoughtful but are as easy as putting on a dress.
