Do you yearn to build your own home, but need some design inspiration or technical know-how?

You may find some answers at Grand Designs Live – for which the Telegraph is giving away free tickets, subject to availability.

The fair is being held at the ExCel Centre in London from April 29 to May 7 2017. It has 500 exhibitors covering kitchens, gardens, technology, bathrooms, interiors and building materials and methods. 

Grand Designs Live is being hosted by Kevin McCloud with debates and sessions about the most cutting-edge architectural techniques.

How to get free tickets

  • Go to granddesignslive.com and follow the link to book tickets 

  • Enter your details with the reference code DTGDL

  • Download a maximum of two adult weekday tickets, valid on May 2 - 5 only

  • Children 15 or under are free, and you can get tickets at the box office

  • You can buy additional tickets at the advance ticket price of £12

  • Tickets are subject to availability

Terms and Conditions

A maximum of two free adult tickets per household can be claimed. Tickets can only be claimed online and cannot be claimed by any other method. Tickets are available for use on any weekday of the show. Tickets must be claimed by 28 April 2017. Any claim made after this date will be invalid. Your name will be printed on the ticket. Tickets cannot be exchanged for cash, are not transferable and cannot be duplicated. Once all free tickets have been claimed the code will no longer work.

You must print your own tickets and show them at the entrance to Grand Designs Live on the date you have chosen. Failure to print your tickets could result in refusal of entry. In the event of any dispute, the show’s organisers, Media 10 Ltd have the right to refuse admission. Call the ticket hotline on 0844 854 1348.
