VMware

VMware (VMW) shares dropped 9% a day after the No. 1 maker of virtualization software reported new bookings and new enterprise license agreements below views. But Q1 EPS rose 8% to 80 cents, beating views by a penny. Revenue increased 14% to $1.36 bil. EMC (EMC) has an 80% stake in VMware.
