ANDOVER, Mass. (AP) _ Vicor Corp. (VICR) on Tuesday reported third-quarter net income of $13 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

The Andover, Massachusetts-based company said it had net income of 32 cents per share.

The modular power components company posted revenue of $78 million in the period.

Vicor shares have climbed 84 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $38.45, an increase of 59 percent in the last 12 months.
