Vibrant Group CEO sentenced to period of incarceration
Vibrant Group, the former sponsor of Sabana Industrial REIT, announced that Eric Khua, CEO of Vibrant Group Bip
was sentenced to a period of incarceration on July 24 for a personal matter that is not related to the Company or the management of the Company. The Company is further informed by Khua that he is seeking legal advice on and will appeal against both his conviction and the sentence. The Board and the Nominating Committee are of the view that there is no present need to assess the suitability of Khua continuing as an Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company given that Mr Khua will appeal against both his conviction and the sentence. The Board and the NC will continue to monitor the progress of Mr Khua’s matter and will take such steps as may be necessary.
