Upland Software: Q2 Earnings Snapshot

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Upland Software Inc. (UPLD) on Thursday reported a loss of $11.4 million in its second quarter.

The Austin, Texas-based company said it had a loss of 47 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 19 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 15 cents per share.

The maker of cloud-based enterprise work-management software posted revenue of $69.3 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $67.9 million.

For the current quarter ending in September, Upland Software said it expects revenue in the range of $63.2 million to $69.2 million.

The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $269.6 million to $281.6 million.
