UOB, SAP to offer enterprise resource planning software to SMEs

UOB, SAP to offer enterprise resource planning software to SMEs

It will be offered to UOB's existing SME customer base.

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) and SAP announced a partnership to offer an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SME) customers of the bank.

According to a press release, the software, called SAP Business One, will combine in a single package some SME functions to digitise their processes such as accounting and sales.

SAP Business One will be made available as part of UOB BizSmart.

SMEs can choose from three options, depending on the functions they require and the number of employees in the organisation, with the most basic option being complimentary.

UOB said other collaborators that could be hooked into BizSmart are Enterpryze, a mobile business software provider for micro and small enterprises, and HReasily, a firm focusing on human resources.
