Twitter's writing in all caps about Anya Taylor-Joy's Golden Globes dress

While you were sleeping, Hollywood's biggest celebrities got all dolled up for the 2021 Golden Globes and, although there wasn't the usual red carpet turnout, it was one helluva night for fashion.

Among the most notable looks is that worn by Anya Taylor-Joy, who won Best Actress for her role as Beth Harmon in Netflix's The Queen's Gambit which, in case you didn't already know, is the streaming platform's most-watched scripted series ever (ooft!).

For the (largely virtual) event, Anya opted for a custom emerald green Dior dress fit for actual royalty - which feels kinda approps - accessorised with jewels from Tiffany & Co. The floor-length gown features a plunging neckline with a grand as heck robe to match.

“[Dior creative director] Maria Grazia Chiuri really let us live out our fantasy and do something in homage to both Monsieur Dior and Anya’s characters,” Law Roach, Anya's stylist, tells British Vogue. “The dress is retro, but modern and cool at the same time.”

Beauty-wise, Anya kept things classic, opting for pin-straight hair parted to the side and her signature statement lip. Chic.

Oh, and naturally Twitter was obsessed with the look, with one fan even crowing Anya Queen IRL. Just a heads up, you're in for a lot of capitals:
