TPI Composites (TPIC) Reports Q4 Loss, Lags Revenue Estimates

TPI Composites (TPIC) came out with a quarterly loss of $0.73 per share versus the Zacks Consensus Estimate of a loss of $0.80. This compares to loss of $1.57 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of 8.75%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this maker of composite wind blades would post a loss of $0.21 per share when it actually produced a loss of $0.39, delivering a surprise of -85.71%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus EPS estimates two times.

TPI Composites , which belongs to the Zacks Industrial Services industry, posted revenues of $402.28 million for the quarter ended December 2022, missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 9.34%.
