Toyota, AB InBev, Funko: Companies to Watch

Here are the companies the Yahoo Finance team is watching for you today.

A big quarter at Toyota (TM). The auto giant posted solid results thanks in part to profits that quadrupled in North America, as drivers buy more trucks and SUVs. The company raised its forecast as well, but admitted the coronarvirus remains a risk. Toyota factories in China are currently closed as the virus spreads.

A C-Suite shakeup at Anheuser-Busch InBev (BUD). Longtime CFO Felipe Dutra is stepping down and will be replaced by the company’s Vice President of Finance for South America, Fernando Tennenbaum. Dutra has been at AB InBev since 2005, and helped ink deals that integrated assets like Anheuser-Busch International, Modelo, and SABMiller. It’s unclear why Dutra decided to step down.

Shares of Funko (FNKO) are plunging this morning after the stock was downgraded by at least four firms, including JPMorgan Chase. The pop-culture figurine maker warned that fourth-quarter results would come in worse than expected when it releases earnings March 5th. Meanwhile, Funko has announced a limited edition Australian firefighter Pop figure, complete with a vinyl koala latched onto his leg. All proceeds from the "Bushfire Heroes" figure will go toward helping animals impacted by the Australian wildfires.
