Gisele Bundchen says she and Tom Brady aren't backing Donald Trump

Gisele Bundchen told Instagram fans that husband Tom Brady and she would not back Donald Trump in the presidential election, according to a report from NESN.

Instagram user "_ricky_ve" recently asked the fashion model if it were true the couple was backing Trump. Bundchen responded with "NO!," according to a Twitter (TWTR) post from NESN's Doug Kyed.

The tweet set off a firestorm of comments on Instagram.


Although it is unclear if Bundchen actually made the post — CNBC has reached out to Bundchen's Intimates collection for comment — if true, the statement could contradict words from the GOP presidential nominee. On Monday, Trump told a crowd in New Hampshire that the New England Patriots quarterback said he voted for him.
