ThaiBev buys 252 KFC stores for $470.25m

Its subsidiary sealed the deal with YUM Restaurants International.

Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (ThaiBev) sealed the deal with YUM Restaurants International (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to buy 252 KFC outlets in Thailand for $470.25m (THB11.4b).

According to a press release, ThaiBev's subsidiary The QSR of Asia Co., Ltd. (QSA) completed the deal with YUM.

ThaiBev Food Business senior vice president Nongnuch Buranasetkul said the acquisition will provide collaboration with other businesses, such as the beverage segment.
