Super Group Increases Investment In Joint Venture Company

Super Group has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Super Coffee Corporation has increased its investment in its joint venture company, San Miguel Super Coffeemix Co. (San Miguel Super) by injecting PHP15.4 million and subscribing for approximately 1.5 million ordinary shares of PHP10 each in the share capital of San Miguel.

Subsequent to the additional investment, the group’s equity interest in San Miguel Super now stands at PHP61.5 million divided into 6.15 million ordinary shares of PHP10 each. The additional investment intended for the working capital of San Miguel Super is made in proportion to the 30 percent interest held by the group.

San Miguel Pure Foods Company, being the other joint venture partner, has also injected PHP35.9 million for 3.59 million ordinary shares at PHP10 each, in accordance to its 70 percent equity interest in San Miguel Super.
