Stocks shaky as tax bill stutter-steps forward

Stocks (^DJI, ^GSPC, ^IXIC) are sideways to down as investors watch Washington for the latest with the tax bill. The energy (XLE) sector is most in the green, and the consumer staples (XLP) sector is most in the red. Alan Valdes of Silverbear Capital joins us live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange to talk markets.

To discuss the other big stories of the day, Yahoo Finance’s Seana Smith is joined by Yahoo Finance Editor-in-Chief Andy Serwer and Dan Roberts. Seana also talks with JP Mangalindan about Amazon’s corporate culture and to Joe Hagan, author of the new best-selling book, “Sticky Fingers: The Life and Times of Jann Wenner and Rolling Stone Magazine.”
